We are looking for an exceptional Customer Marketing Manager to be responsible for developing and executing strategic trade marketing plans to maximise brand visibility, drive sales, and foster strong relationships with key retailers. Youll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives and sales targets. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our business growth and market expansion.
Responsibilities
* Lead the customer marketing plans for convenience & wholesale customers aligning to the channels growth plans for bars and shakes
* Work closely with the Grenade brand team to ensure the trade facing customer marketing plans are aligned to the overall brand messaging
* Work closely with commercial and category teams to develop opportunities for brand and category growth across the channel
* Manage the execution of point of sale activation with field sales teams, both Mondelez and 3rd party
* Develop best‑in‑class point of sale materials for use in retail and wholesale and monitor and manage stock levels efficiently
* Own and manage the B2B trade events activation plan across the channel including customer events, trade events and sampling
* Lead trade press strategy, communication and advertising execution alongside 3rd party agency and trade press partners
* Identify shopper insights, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform customer marketing strategies and optimise brand campaign effectiveness in store.
* Monitor and analyse campaign performance, sales data, and market trends to evaluate ROI and identify areas for optimisation.
* Responsible for managing the customer marketing budget for your specific area. Ongoing review of activities to ensure they deliver a return on investment.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in shopper/trade marketing within an FMCG Wholesale & Convenience channel
* Strong understanding of shopper behaviour, retail dynamics, and channel management.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns that drive sales and brand growth.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data‑driven decisions.
* Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving results.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
