37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00). Some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Responsibilities
As a Road Safety Engineer, you will work within the Road Safety Team, supporting them in delivering high‑quality technical outputs for road safety initiatives. You will deliver technical solutions for road safety projects across the UK, contributing to highway schemes ranging from small improvements to major infrastructure projects for both internal and external clients.
* Contribute to Road Safety Audits, Walking, Cycling and Horse‑Riding Assessments, and Equality Impact Assessments in line with DMRB standards.
* Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documents to meet client specifications.
* Undertake site visits during daytime and night time as required.
* Provide innovative solutions to engineering challenges and technical advice to design teams.
* Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, attend meetings and report on project progress.
Qualifications
* Member of a professional body (IEng/CEng status or working towards it).
* Valid CSCS Card and UK driving licence.
* Collaborative working style and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
* Thorough, disciplined and focused approach to delivering projects.
* Commitment to safety, ethical practice and making a positive impact on communities.
