Community Partnership Coordinator 12 months fixed term contract, 22 hours per week £24,441 to £26,591 pro rata Coleford An exciting time to join Forest of Dean District Council to take a district-wide coordinators role in Community Safety Partnership (CSP). To also provide comprehensive administrative support for the efficient and effective delivery of the Community Wellbeing service. Our district is already a special place. You'll be at the heart of our mission to build safer, stronger, and more connected communities-working with partners, leading on meetings, supporting funding bids, and keeping key stakeholders informed and engaged. Some of your responsibilities will be: You will co-ordinate the CSP monthly meetings - including sub groups, arranging relevant presentations, update the action plan and calendar of events. To take minutes of the meetings and liaise with the Chair on matters to be included. Act as the first point of contact the CSP. Identify opportunities within community safety, liaising with communities and partners to enhance healthier, more hospitable, safer, stronger and thriving communities overall. Attend District-wide or County theme-related meetings (including Road Safety and Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Forum), as designated by the Team Manager; Keep records and produce regular written reports for the Office of the Police Crime Commissioner on the progress of the CSP actions and interventions. You will need A level, NVQ3, or BTEC Relevant professional qualification (relevant experience can be considered as an alternative) GCSEs (5 A-Cs or equivalent, including Maths and English) An excellent working knowledge of administrative processes and systems. Experience and confidence in engaging with communities and individuals Strong IT and administrative skills The ability to prioritise and organise a workload with a strong attention to detail Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work with a degree of independence Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with Data Protection and GDPR Special conditions Ability to travel For more information about this role please see the Job Description/Person Specification.
