Position Overview: The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Air Dominance team in Berkeley, MO, is seeking a Support Coordinator to join our Engineering Test and Technology (ET&T) Material Management Operations (MMO). This role encompasses duties from various classifications including Production Material Coordinator, Crater & Packer, and Material Handler - Specialist.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate all scheduled job assignments, expedite processes, and resolve holdups
* Manage receiving, movement, storage, and inventory of materials, parts, equipment, tools, and supplies
* Process and issue tools, parts, and materials; oversee storage, inventory, and delivery
* Sort, load, unload, pull, move, and record items
* Report obsolete, damaged, or inspection-required storage items
* Operate equipment such as lift trucks, saws, hoists, and cranes
* Layout and fabricate shipping containers; construct, repair, and assemble containers
* Secure containers during transportation
* Use measuring instruments and woodworking tools as needed
* Assist in maintaining and investigating discrepancies in automated work order data
* Input and retrieve electronic data as required
Physical Demands:
The role may require crawling, lying down, forceful grasping, lifting up to 35 lbs, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, reaching, climbing, balancing, and working on ladders or uneven surfaces. It involves exposure to noise, moving parts, and working at heights. Personal protective equipment is required.
Work Environment:
This position is 100% onsite at one of the specified locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
* At least 1 year of experience in inventory, stock, or supply chain management
* High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills:
* Experience operating forklifts or tugs
* Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
Additional Information:
This role is primarily first shift with potential for additional shifts. It is governed by the IAMAW 837 union contract. Training, security clearance, and certifications may be required. The position offers a pay range of $18.65 to $22.65 per hour, with potential to earn up to $44.53.
