Have you thought about becoming a foster carer for Brent? Brent's fostering service is looking for more foster carers; you could make a significant difference in a child's life. Brent seeks compassionate, committed, and community-minded individuals to join our dedicated network of foster carers.
As a Brent foster carer, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stable, and nurturing home for children and young people who are unable to live with their birth families. Fostering is a rewarding and life-changing opportunity to make a real difference. You will work closely with our fostering team and receive dedicated support, training, and guidance throughout your fostering journey.
Our fostering community comprises individuals and families from all walks of life - you don't need to be married, own your home, or have previous parenting experience. What matters most is your ability to provide a child with a loving and supportive environment. This role is flexible and home-based, with a generous weekly fostering allowance, access to peer support groups, 24/7 social work support, and a wide range of training and development opportunities.
We are looking for individuals or couples who are:
* Caring, patient, and supportive
* Willing to work as part of a team with social workers, schools, and other professionals
* Interested in supporting children from diverse backgrounds and experiences
* Committed to providing consistent care, love, and stability
* You must live in the UK. All foster carers will need to undergo a fostering assessment and DBS check, and we can support you through this process.
Whether you're considering a career change, returning to work, or looking to make a difference in your community, fostering could be the perfect next step. You can be a foster carer for Brent even if you still work full-time, are retired, single, or not a parent. Our children in Brent need you.
We are seeking emergency, respite, weekend, part-time, and long-term foster carers. We are very flexible and will work with you.
