Responsibilities
The post holder will practice within a team of nursing staff and act as a ‘named nurse’ for a group of patients: assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their care needs. Initially requiring direct supervision, the post holder will develop and maintain specialist skills to provide the highest standard of patient care, enabling them to work without direct supervision. They will be expected to show an intention for developing specialised neonatal nursing care skills.
Qualifications
Registered nurse (adult branch) experience, a willingness to work independently without direct supervision, and an interest in developing specialised neonatal nursing skills.
