This role is a Fixed Term Contract due to maternity leave.
You will make contributions that matter by:
1. Being the primary contact for the Nuneaton site on all elements associated with product item costings, both current and future.
2. Acting as the finance business partner for the NPD and Commercial functions, leading new item setups and associated ICT Gate processes for product costings.
3. Working closely with the R&D and Operations teams to ensure costings are accurate and aligned with operating processes across all areas of the plant.
4. Developing and analysing cost standards, carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis, and reviewing processes to ensure efficient reporting.
5. Ensuring financial integrity for item costs and their associated BOMs within the company's P&L and cost of goods sold.
You are best suited for the role if you...
1. Hold a professional financial qualification (ACCA/CIMA), either qualified or part-qualified, or are studying towards it.
2. Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLookups and Pivot tables; experience with AX Dynamics or similar manufacturing and cost accounting systems is advantageous.
3. Demonstrate strong analytical and costing skills.
4. Are an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
