Maintenance Engineer 40h/week - 12.31/hour

The successful applicant will
* Ensure all minor repairs and audit requirements are fixed in a timely manner.
* Guarantee adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements and to company policies and procedures.
* Carry out all required tests and checks for various systems of the home on weekly, monthly, and annual bases.
* Be responsible for the maintenance of the Care Home, including planned maintenance (painting, plumbing, minor refurbishments) and the ability to assemble or install new equipment delivered to the Home.
* Be responsible for the maintenance of the home’s surrounding grounds (paths and driveways kept uncluttered, open, safe; plants tended and hydrated).
* Ensure lights and signs, internal and external, are in good shape, clear and evident.
* Liaise with contractors to ensure all work complies with site Health and Safety rules.
* Create and adhere to budgets.
* Carry out critical checks to identify and report maintenance defects and problems.
* Confirm and maintain the operability of heating, lighting, plumbing, and all non-medical equipment necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the Home.

Someone who can deliver care that truly comes from the heart, ensuring residents maintain their dignity and individuality while you participate in general activities within the Care Home. You may help residents with limited mobility, provide emotional support to confused or distressed residents, or deliver care at the end of life, keeping their well-being in mind above all else.
