This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most iconic and successful race teams in the world, Atlassian Williams Racing.
The Events Sim Technician will join the Esports events team to deliver an industry-leading experience to all guests participating in simulator experiential events worldwide. Reporting to the Head of Esports Events, this role will be crucial in delivering events that enhance the Williams brand and guest experience. The position is based on-site at Grove, five days a week.
Main Duties:
* Manage and maintain all esports sim hardware and software, including sourcing, repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
* Operate and oversee the fleet of simulators across multiple sites and countries, maintaining stock and maintenance documentation.
* Coordinate shipping of simulator equipment to and from HQ, storage, drivers, and suppliers.
* Prepare and fulfill equipment for sales orders.
* Support front-of-house event and guest management for various events.
* Coordinate and deliver events in the Esports Lounge.
* Assist the Esports team with partner events, driver training, media, sponsor events, and content creation.
* Build strong relationships with third-party agencies and suppliers, managing their output.
* Support the wider Experience Centre and STEM teams with events as needed.
* Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the Williams brand is represented consistently and correctly.
* Flexibility for working hours and travel may be required based on event schedules.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Extensive knowledge of sim racing hardware and software.
* At least two years of professional experience with sim racing hardware.
* A related qualification is advantageous but not essential.
