As a social worker within our MASH team, you will work to ensure we keep the children and young people at the heart of our assessments and decision making. You will work in partnership with other agencies (health, education, police, voluntary sector etc.) to ensure families receive coordinated and appropriate support in relation to their assessed needs. You will need a clear understanding of the principle and function of a Front Door / Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub and evidence of the ability to determine positive outcomes for children and young people, within tight timescales. The ideal applicant will have had a good foundation of working as a frontline social worker.
Qualifications
* Social Work England registration
* Ideally experience within a MASH team
* Recognised qualification in Social Work
* Passed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) if you qualified after 2012
* Database Service (DBS) clearance (Enhanced Adults and Children’s)
* Fluent spoken English – legal requirement under the Immigration Act 2016
