Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Security and TEC Engineer located in Ipswich. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems, including application security, network security, and overall infrastructure protection. Responsibilities include assessing potential vulnerabilities, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams to engineer and improve robust security measures protecting organizational assets.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Application Security and Security Engineering methodologies, including implementing and testing security in software applications.
* Strong expertise in Network Security and Information Security, with experience in securing sensitive data and ensuring network integrity.
* Knowledge and application of Cybersecurity for the protection and monitoring of digital assets and systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
* Experience with tools and frameworks related to security practices and risk assessment.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
* Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM will be considered an advantage.
* Ability to work effectively on-site as part of a collaborative team environment.
