Client Relationship Manager, Carlisle, Up to £60,000 plus £6k Car allowance Step into a pivotal leadership role at the heart of a dynamic, multi-sector group. As the Client Relationship Manager, you’ll take ownership of the entire business development pipeline, identifying, progressing, and securing new commercial opportunities while ensuring the highest standards of service for key clients and stakeholders. You’ll be the driving force behind sustained growth, trusted relationships, and the seamless delivery of projects across a diverse portfolio. What You’ll Do: Spot and manage opportunities: Use industry portals and frameworks to identify new projects, then manage each one from first enquiry through to commission. Be the connector: Build trust and rapport with a wide range of people; architects, engineers, repeat customers, and new prospects. Keep sales on track: This isn’t a typical "sales job". You’ll nurture relationships, ensure a smooth process, and provide excellent service so customers come back again and again. Work with the best: Collaborate daily with an experienced estimating team who’ll support you as you get to grips with the role. Stay organised: Keep the CRM up to date, manage the sales pipeline, and make sure every lead is followed up. Get out there: Based in Carlisle, but you’ll get out to sites and client meetings across the region when needed. What You’ll Bring: Experience in business development, account management, or customer-facing roles (industry background is a bonus, not a must) Confident communicator—happy to pick up the phone, chase things up, and get results Relationship-first mindset - service and trust matter Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple tasks Team player - ready to learn and work closely with colleagues Why Join?
