Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Cheshire – Up to £51,500 DOE plus excellent benefits.
Mech Tech Professionals are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Cheshire. This is your chance to join a leading Waste Management company where the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer plays an integral role in ensuring to maximise plant reliability and availability through safe and effective maintenance practices.
Salary: Up to £51,500 DOE plus excellent benefits.
Benefits to include: 33 days hols including BH, contributory pension, flexible benefits scheme and a recognition scheme and up to 12% bonus.
Hours of Work: 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Location: Cheshire
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer duties include:
1. Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical and rotating plant equipment
2. Working on all power plant systems including overhead cranes, grabs, pumps, fans, and mechanical drive systems
3. Interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting
4. Maintaining equipment history and ensuring CMMS records are up to date
5. Assisting in planning and executing outages and daily maintenance tasks
6. Carrying out vibration analysis and ensuring correct equipment compliance
