Senior Executive Assistant to Managing Director – International Consultancy | Birmingham

This is your opportunity to work at the heart of a leading international consultancy, partnering directly with a visionary Managing Director in Birmingham.

As a Strategic Executive Assistant, you will be far more than a traditional EA. You will act as a trusted business partner and right hand to the MD, ensuring his time is maximised and his focus remains on driving the business forward. This role blends classic executive support with strategic project involvement, office management, and high-level business coordination.
* Proactively manage the MD’s complex and ever-changing diary, scheduling with senior stakeholders and anticipating business needs
* Prepare and polish executive-level presentations, board reports, and briefing documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and visual impact
* Analyse business and financial data, producing insightful reports that inform strategic decisions
* Conduct research on markets, competitors, and industry trends, providing the MD with actionable intelligence
* Oversee key internal projects and ensure the smooth running of the Birmingham office, managing resources and maintaining a high-performing environment
* Act as the MD’s gatekeeper and ambassador, communicating confidently with colleagues, clients, and external partners at all levels
The client are seeking a:
* Graduate calibre or academically exceptional, with a strong record of achievement and analytical ability
* Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant or in a senior support role, ideally within a corporate or professional environment
* Highly numerate and confident working with data, able to produce clear, insightful reports
* Skilled at preparing high-quality presentations and documents, with meticulous attention to detail
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities at pace
* Professional, discreet, and able to build relationships at all levels
