We’re working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Leeds who are looking for enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join them. Whether your degree is in Psychology, English, Maths, Counselling, Literature, Fine Art, or a related subject, your skills and enthusiasm could have a real impact in the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting pupils in class, in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis
* Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and creative learning activities
* Supporting children with SEND or additional needs (training provided)
* Building positive relationships and encouraging good behaviour
* Gaining valuable school-based experience to support future careers in teaching, educational psychology, counselling, SEN, or youth work
What We’re Looking For
* A degree (2:2 or above)
* A genuine interest in working with children
* A proactive, patient, and reliable approach
* A willingness to learn and develop in an educational environment
* Experience with young people (tutoring, volunteering, holiday clubs, etc.) is beneficial but not essential
