Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Concrete Location: Cranbrook Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-time Industry: Construction About the Role An opportunity is available for a competent and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction team. As a key team member, you will work closely with site managers, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to manage project costs, risks, procurement, and contract administration. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on programme and within budget. Key Responsibilities Commercial & Cost Management * Prepare cost estimates, take-offs, and tender documentation. * Manage project budgets, including forecasting and cost monitoring. * Carry out Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs). * Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage live commercial risks alongside site teams. * Maintain accurate records of project costs and financial transactions. Procurement & Negotiation * Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure best value and terms. * Undertake procurement activities in line with project requirements. * Review and negotiate contracts and subcontracts prior to signing.
