Job Description:
We are searching for an experienced Manager for the Corporate Simplification Team. Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team plays a major role in driving the firm's growth, with over 1,700 people delivering nearly £200m revenue.
At the heart of Consulting are six solutions we offer: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. These solutions help our clients achieve strategic goals and empower our team members to develop their careers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Corporate Simplification Restructuring Advisory team. You will develop a broad range of skills across corporate reorganizations and Members Voluntary Liquidations. The role is primarily based in London, but we operate nationally, allowing flexibility for candidates across the UK to work remotely with Partners and Directors nationwide.
The role involves attending marketing events and collaborating with Partners and Directors to meet marketing and business objectives. We support growth and career development with clear progression paths.
Responsibilities:
* Complete assignments following the Firm’s procedures and statutory obligations, including client arrangements, costs, and billing.
* Collaborate with team members to plan and execute assignments, managing cases per standards and regulations.
* Assist and support the team, including training colleagues.
* Prepare and seek approval for engagement letters and related documents.
* Complete KPIs for Partner/Director approval.
* Ensure diary lines meet compliance standards.
* Review and approve documents in IPS and Virtual Cabinet.
* Handle case administration, including billing.
* Understand project details with the team and other departments.
* Attend initial client meetings.
* Analyze client information critically.
* Manage large corporate reduction projects.
* Oversee asset realizations and distributions.
* Prepare statutory reports.
* Contribute to team development through networking and technical skills.
Personal and Professional Qualities:
The candidate should be CPI or JIEB qualified, with experience in similar roles, capable of leading Members Voluntary Liquidations. Strong technical, analytical, report writing, and interpersonal skills are essential. Additional requirements include:
* Experience managing stakeholder relationships.
* Proven ability to analyze financial information.
* Experience in Corporate Simplification or similar roles.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* High-quality delivery within deadlines.
* ACA or similar qualification is advantageous.
