Manson Associates is an established architectural and planning practice based in Edinburgh, delivering projects across a range of sectors with a core focus on residential development, including student accommodation, build-to-rent, co‑living, and bespoke private housing. We are looking for an architect with broad residential experience to join our team and work on high‑end housing projects.
We are seeking to appoint a high‑calibre Architect with 5–10 years’ post‑qualification experience to join our Edinburgh New Town studio. This role will be primarily aligned to the delivery of high‑end bespoke residential projects. We are looking to engage commercially aware, design‑led professionals who can add value across all project stages and operate effectively within a fast‑paced delivery environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of live projects, including site‑stage delivery. A strong working knowledge of construction detailing and experience administering traditional contracts is critical, alongside the ability to develop robust and innovative design solutions from concept through to completion.

Key requirements
* Registered Architect (ARB or equivalent)
* Professional membership (RIAS/RIBA or equivalent) preferred
* Demonstrable experience in traditional contract procurement
* Strong conceptual and sketch design capability
* Proficiency in Revit
* High‑quality visual and verbal communication skills
* Strong written and spoken English
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
* Experience in, or exposure to, Contract Administration
