What is the role?
The post will be across 4 locations in South Ayrshire.
The post holder will provide care to children attending the After School/Holiday Clubs operated by South Ayrshire Council.
Extra information:
The Grade of this post is Grade 1/ Level 4; the hourly rate is from £13.78 to £14.09 and the annual salary is from £14,370 to £14,693.
We are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates who have achieved the qualification of:
1. HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7 or;
2. SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF Level 7
Successful candidate must also be registered with the SSSC within 6 months of employment.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
