Our client, a leading water sector specialist are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to work across Severn Trent Water.
Whilst the role is primarily based in this region, there may be a requirement to work away from home as per project requirements.
Office is based out of Bromsgrove, candidates will need to be based within commuting distance of the office.
The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating mechanical installation activities on-site, ensuring that all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
This role involves supervising installation teams, monitoring progress against project timelines, and ensuring compliance with all relevant technical specifications, quality plans, and inspection and test requirements.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of workmanship, ensuring that all mechanical components and systems are installed in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
The role requires the consistent application and promotion of dynamic risk assessment processes, ensuring that all team members understand and adhere to safe systems of work at all times.
In addition, the Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for fostering a positive working environment, supporting team members, and promoting high standards of communication and collaboration. Experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Mechanical Fitter (Essential)
Experience within water, construction, or industrial sectors (Essential)
Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
Fit for work medical (Essential)
Relevant City & Guilds or equivalent mechanical trade qualification (Essential)
SSSTS or SMSTS certification (Essential)
PASMA and/or IPAF certification (Desirable)
Confined Space training (Desirable)
Inspection and testing certification (Desirable)
