About the Role
The Artistic Programme Manager will play an essential part of Attenborough Centre’s future. Working closely with the Head of Cultural Programmes & Engagement, this role will develop the centre’s programme of high quality and engaging performances and events that connect with a broad range of audiences, including students.
Internally, you will collaborate with colleagues across the Division of Library, Culture & Heritage and the wider University to support the strategic priorities of the Division, particularly around civic engagement.
Responsibilities
* Develop and programme high quality performances and events for the Attenborough Centre.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including student societies, individual artists and nationally significant arts organisations.
* Identify and secure new programming opportunities and partner with external stakeholders.
* Plan and manage detailed projects, including budgeting, contracting, scheduling and production planning.
* Support the strategic priorities of the Division in civic engagement.
Qualifications
* Proven track record of programming and producing artistic work across multiple artforms in venues, festivals or higher education settings.
* Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
* Expertise in detailed project management to ensure budgeting, contracting, scheduling and production planning are managed effectively.
* Experience working with student societies, individual artists and arts organisations.
Eligibility
Visa sponsorship may be available under the Skilled Worker route (SOC code 3416). The salary offered is £38,100. The role is based in the UK.
