Senior Growth Manager - D2C - Thirsk

We’re excited to be recruiting for a Senior Growth Manager to join our D2C Marketing team.


Role Purpose

To drive sustainable, profitable D2C (Direct-to-consumer) growth by executing the D2C strategy and optimisation of customer acquisition, CRM, retention, and analytics, ensuring delivery of ambitious revenue, profitability, and subscription growth targets.


Responsibilities

* Strategic Leadership: Execute the D2C growth strategy aligned with company goals and equity value creation.
* Identify and execute growth opportunities within the channel (acquisition, CRO, CRM, retention), ensuring budget delivery and execution within allocated resources and frameworks.
* Play leading role in D2C UK Business Unit Leadership Team.
* Business Planning, Forecasting & Analysis: Lead long‑term business planning, ensuring alignment between growth strategy, operational capacity, and financial targets.
* Own month‑to‑month promotional & media planning process.
* Own month‑to‑month forecasting collaboratively with Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
* Monitor performance against KPIs and take corrective actions.
* Commercial & Consumer Management: Own key D2C growth levers across acquisition, CRM, retention, and analytics; oversee performance marketing, lifecycle management, and site optimisation.
* Data & Insight Leadership: Champion data‑driven decision making, ensuring creation of dashboards, data pipelines, and performance reporting.
* People & Agency Leadership: Build and inspire a high‑performing D2C growth team and manage agencies/freelancers.
* Build a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture focused on testing, learning, and continuous improvement.
* Work closely with cross‑functional leaders in technology, supply chain, brand, people, and finance.


About you

* Experience in D2C growth – directly or extensively working with D2C brands.
* Experience in digital marketing.
* Understanding of acquisition (paid media & SEO), CRM, retention, and data analytics.
* Understanding of e‑commerce technology platforms & digital tools.
* Skilled in commercial strategy with understanding of P&L dynamics, channel read‑across and cross‑channel management.
* Experience developing and executing business plans and financial forecasts.
* Ability to interpret data and translate insight into action.
* Experience in project management.
* Skilled at managing multiple agency partners and freelancers.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
