Due to continuous growth and expansion, the company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their close-knitted industrial team in Peterborough! The Mechanical fitter will be part of a team responsible for the assembly, maintenance and repair of a wide range of fabricated and complex treatment systems. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Assemble, install and repair mechanical components and large units Maintenance and fabrication of parts and equipment. Quality inspection of parts and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process Participate in LEAN/KAIZEN continuous improvement initiatives Work to Health & Safety processes and procedures Skills & Experience required: Proven experience in a similar mechanical fitting/assembly role Ability to read and work to engineering drawings and specifications Experience with stainless steel, aluminium, pipework and similar Welding experience would be beneficial.
