Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives and drive our mission forward. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for making a difference, alongside strong skills in marketing, relationship management, and public relations. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies that engage our community and enhance our organisational goals.
Duties
* Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organisational targets.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to foster long-term support.
* Utilise CRM software, including Raiser's Edge, to manage donor information and track fundraising activities.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that promote fundraising events and initiatives.
* Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring they are successful and align with the organisation's mission.
* Provide exceptional customer service to donors and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and fostering positive engagement.
* Prepare reports on fundraising progress, analysing data to inform future strategies.
Experience
* Proven experience in fundraising or a related field, demonstrating successful outcomes in securing donations.
* Strong background in marketing and public relations, with the ability to craft persuasive messaging.
* Proficiency in relationship management, showcasing an ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
* Familiarity with CRM software is essential; experience with Raiser's Edge is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for engaging audiences effectively.
