Role
As a technical sales engineer / field sales engineer, you are looking to achieve profitable business sales of the process automation range of products and the full product range into existing and new customers throughout the territory which includes Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. You will be selling into a wide variety of customer types such as End Users, Panel Builders, System Integrators, OEMs both directly and via a Partner Distribution Network. You will manage an established customer base and access information on potential customers for development. To assist your success you will receive comprehensive ongoing product training.
Responsibilities
* Field based sales across the specified territory.
* Work closely with sales team, sales managers and distribution partners.
* Develop new accounts and deepen relationships with key accounts.
* Achieve sales targets and drive profitability.
* Present and negotiate product solutions to customers.
Candidate
* Excellent communicator, negotiator and presenter.
* Business to business (B2B) field sales experience as an Area Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Sales Development or Business Development Manager, within control and automation, process automation, process instrumentation products.
* Demonstrable sales success, preferably in oil & gas, pharmaceutical, chemical, energy and utilities industries.
* Preferably have an engineering qualification such as ONC, HNC level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
