Chief Executive Officer Location: Glasgow Salary: 100,140 to 103,489, or flexible on dayrate for the right candidate Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Are you a visionary leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality services and making a meaningful impact within communities? We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Executive to lead our organisation into its next chapter. As Chief Executive, you will drive organisational strategy, ensure outstanding service delivery and uphold the highest standards of governance and performance. Working closely with the Board, senior leadership, staff teams, partners and stakeholders, you will shape the future direction of the organisation and ensure the needs of tenants, residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Governance Lead the organisation to ensure business aims, strategies and policies are delivered effectively. Work with the Board and senior colleagues to review, develop and embed strategic priorities. Prepare and monitor strategic business plans and performance targets. Ensure strong governance structures, supporting the Board to make well-informed decisions. Lead the Executive Management Team, ensuring organisational values and goals are embedded across all services. Community, Partnerships & External Engagement Promote the organisation positively and develop strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and community groups. Ensure effective tenant and resident engagement structures are maintained and continuously developed. Represent the organisation professionally with regulators, local and national government, and partner agencies. Staff Leadership & Culture Develop a strong organisational culture that empowers, motivates and supports staff. Implement effective people strategies including workforce planning, professional development and performance management. Address conflict and performance issues quickly and constructively. Champion diversity, inclusion and equality across all aspects of service delivery and staff practice. Financial & Business Management Ensure financial stability through effective financial planning, controls and reporting. Provide robust risk management, business continuity and assurance frameworks. Support the development of sustainable investment, asset and treasury strategies. Oversee company secretarial duties where required. Person Specification Essential Experience & Knowledge Proven leadership experience within a successful, customer-focused and ideally regulated organisation. Strong experience of motivating and developing staff teams. Demonstrable experience of strategic planning, governance and organisational performance. Strong financial and risk management skills, with experience of overseeing complex budgets. Experience leading change and building effective partnerships across sectors. Understanding of digital transformation and use of technology to improve services. Skills & Attributes Inspirational leadership with the ability to motivate others towards shared goals. Excellent communicator with strong presentation, influencing and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on opportunities for growth and improvement.
