Marketing Executive, £18,096 per annum (£14.50 per hour), 24 hours per week (3 days)
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will support the delivery of the revenue budget for the hotel and restaurant by completing targeted sales and marketing activity, such as direct selling, marketing promotions and digital campaigns. There is currently the need for specific emphasis on increasing food and beverage revenues in Ondine, Bow Butts Bar and The Board Room.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, producing hotel, restaurant sales and marketing collateral with support from DOS and HOD team.
* Manage and implement the hotel and restaurant’s social media strategy and activity.
* Manage and update the hotel and restaurant’s online presence, including the website and all third party sites, that the hotel and restaurant appear on.
* Work with the DOS to build and maintain strong relationships within the local community.
* Research competitor properties in order to obtain market intelligence and an understanding of business trends and competitor activity.
* Identify and target local leisure attractions to develop mutually beneficial affiliations and partnerships.
* Work with the DOS and HOD team to ensure a sales and marketing culture is embedded throughout the hotel, using the Valor sales initiatives / tools and gaining buy-in from the team.
* Collate and submit results following any marketing activity, sales blitzes, focus weeks and ongoing activity (e.g. digital reports, Christmas reports).
* Support with responding to customer reviews and questions on social media and review sites.
* Prepare and complete other audits, reports and presentations as required.
* Keep yourself informed of the hotel and restaurant’s commercial targets.
* Establish and build relationships with hotel departments and marketing partners.
* Attend and actively participate in partner and hotel meetings as appropriate.
* Attend internal and external training courses when required.
* Perform other tasks at the level of the role as directed by your line manager.
