Anderson Knight is recruiting a Customer Support Operator for a respected and growing company based in Glasgow.
This role is central to delivering a high level of support to clients and internal teams by effectively handling incoming communications and ensuring requests are managed accurately and promptly.
The position is fully office-based and operates on a 4-week rolling shift pattern, covering 5 days over 7 with a weekly average of 40 hours. The shifts include early, mid, and weekend coverage (detailed below).
Salary : £26,200
Working Pattern:
• Rotating 4-week shift pattern
• 5 days over 7
• Mixture of early, mid, and weekend shifts
• Example shifts include:
o 08:00–16:00
o 10:00–20:00
o 08:00–20:00 (weekends)
o Some weeks include weekdays off
Key Responsibilities:
• Professionally manage inbound calls, emails, and automated work requests.
• Log service requests accurately using in-house and client systems.
• Direct queries to appropriate teams/departments and manage follow-ups or escalations as required.
• Follow client-specific scripts and procedures to ensure service consistency.
• Support with ad-hoc administrative tasks and help ensure smooth departmental operations.
• Collaborate closely with service desks and other departments to meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across systems and service quality.
Ideal Candidate:
• Previous experience in a customer service or call-handling role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office and adaptable to multiple systems.
• Able to multitask in a high-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Team-oriented and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
• Reliable and flexible to support shift coverage and department needs.
