What is the programme
Our 24-month Graduate Development Programme (GDP) provides a structured learning environment to become a well-rounded consultant and launch your career. You’ll build internal networks, deepen industry understanding, and develop technical and commercial competencies with support from a dedicated Graduate Development Manager.
The programme blends technical and behavioural training, on-the-job learning, and opportunities to pursue professional qualifications with esteemed institutions.
Cost Management is a core discipline focused on delivering value for money across the project lifecycle, from feasibility to final delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality.
Responsibilities
As a graduate in Cost Management, you’ll help clients make informed decisions and manage risk in a fast-paced environment across sectors including:
* Infrastructure
* Central & Local Government
* Health & Education
* Energy and Natural Resources
* Commercial Development
* Data Centres
* Life Sciences
* Defence
You’ll also work with HIVE applications and tools, a digital platform to improve cost efficiency and reduce carbon impact. There may be a 6-month secondment with the CM Digital Team in a hybrid position (subject to internal review).

Other Requirements
In some regional roles, the ability to drive may be necessary due to client office locations. For Defence roles, Baseline Personnel Security Standard and UKSV SC clearance may be required after offer acceptance. SOX control responsibilities may apply where relevant.
