Overview

HR/People Assistant - Immediate Start Available!

Are you looking to grow your HR career in a fast-paced, people-focused environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a HR/People Assistant to join our evolving People Team!

Location: S73
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (we're open to discussing flexibility around core working hours)
Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience
Start Date: Immediate - temp to perm contract


Responsibilities

* Reporting to the People Officer, your responsibilities will include:
* Managing absence processes, including return-to-work interviews and documentation
* Supporting with disciplinary, grievance, and appeal hearings
* Coordinating occupational health appointments and welfare calls
* Assisting with health and wellbeing initiatives
* Providing first-line HR advice to managers and colleagues
* Maintaining HR inboxes, trackers, and documentation


What We're Looking For

Essential:

* Strong administration skills and attention to detail
* Experience in a fast-paced environment
* First-line HR experience and knowledge of employment law
* CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
* Proficiency in HRIS and time & attendance systems
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Desirable:

* Experience handling low-level ER cases
