Overview
Provides a quality booking and reception service within the Cardio‑Respiratory Unit, using hospital systems to book, cancel and manage patient appointments and to handle patient and clinician enquiries face‑to‑face, over the phone, and via email.
Key Responsibilities
* Book and cancel patient appointments using hospital systems.
* Deal with patient and clinician queries face‑to‑face, by phone and email.
* Perform administrative tasks in the office.
* Maintain well‑organised records and handling of confidential information.
Key Qualifications
* Computer/typing skills RSA2 or equivalent.
* GCSE or equivalent (essential).
* Experience of dealing with confidential matters.
* Experience of working in a busy office environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent keyboard and computer skills.
* Adaptable, flexible and approachable.
Desirable Criteria
* Proficiency with Word and Excel.
