A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, professional legal practice, who are seeking a new Accounts Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:
* Processing entries into accounts systems
* Daily bank reconciliations - both client and office bank accounts
* Checking and processing bills
* Managing client payments for invoices, resolving queries as needed
* Liaising with lawyers to ensure financial transactions are accurate
* Working in a fast paced environment where ability to adapt and change priorities would be highly beneficial.
Any previous experience working within accounts within a firm of solicitors would be highly beneficial, as would knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules, but the firm can consider those with a strong background in accounting, with a good overall accounts knowledge. Ideally, you will be AAT Qualified to Level 4 or equivalent. A good working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Outlook etc, would also be highly beneficial.
This role is full-time, in office, Monday - Friday 8.30-5pm. Unfortunately, they cannot offer hybrid due to the nature of the work.
