We're looking for a Senior Technician to join our Design team based in Wymondham. The team designs a wide range of building types and site redevelopments across various construction sectors such as education, retail, blue light, conservation, and commercial for both public and private clients.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Technician, you'll work within the Civil and Structural Engineering team, supporting the production and review of structural engineering drawings, 3D building models, reinforcement schedules, and specifications, ensuring delivery of excellent, sustainable structural engineering services aligned with the latest information management standards.
Your Day To Day Will Include:
* Producing and checking coordinated structural drawings, models, schedules, and specifications within a quality-assured environment.
* Checking and coordinating structural design information with other technical disciplines.
* Leading coordination of structural engineering design information within the team and with disciplines such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, and Building Services Engineering on significant projects.
* Mentoring other structural technicians as part of a team committed to professional development.
* Occasionally visiting sites for surveys and inspections, and collaborating with other Kier colleagues.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if you:
* Hold a professional qualification such as a bachelor's degree in a construction-related discipline, or HNC, BTEC, or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building, or Construction.
* Are proficient in REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, producing models and drawings compliant with current standards and regulations.
* Have experience checking the work of other technicians within a quality management system environment, with awareness of building regulations, and possess a full driving license for site visits.
