Role description:
Working hours: 08:00–16:30
Salary: Up to £30,000
Type: Hybrid (On-site, with 1 day work from home on a rota basis (Fridays)
Contract (Inside IR35)

Requirements: Must hold a valid driving licence and be able to travel if required
Key Responsibilities:
*
Support Engineering & Quality functions to expedite critical documentation
*
Coordinate supplier deviations (NCP/NCR) and assess impact on SQDC targets
*
Process NCs and maintain records in Smartsheets and ERP
*
Assist in expediting repaired component returns and manage supplier claims (COPQ)
*
Issue contractual letters to suppliers for quality issues
*
Conduct supplier visits to monitor progress and strengthen relationships
*
Manage import processes and customs clearance as required
The Person:
*
1–3 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing (direct materials preferred)
*
Understanding of logistics and imports; customs clearance and freight knowledge a plus
*
Strong analytical, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills
*
Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
*
Proficient in Excel and procurement systems (SAP desirable)
*
Commercial awareness of pay terms, warranties, and delivery commitments
*
Confident communicator with the ability to engage at all levels
*
Willing to travel as required and hold a valid driving licence
