ROLE: Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias
HOURS: 40hrs/week
LOCATION: London

We are actively recruiting for a Multi skilled Electrical Engineer to work on an exciting and diverse contract focused on maintaining critical national infrastructure at Heathrow Airport Control Tower Building. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Low Voltage (LV) Distribution: Maintenance and oversight of LV distribution systems.
2. Generator & Fuel System Maintenance: Ensuring power systems and fuel mechanisms are functioning reliably.
3. UPS & Batteries: Routine checks and maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supplies and battery systems.
4. Lighting & Emergency Lighting: Upkeep of lighting systems, including emergency lighting to ensure safety and compliance.
5. Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC): Maintenance of HVAC systems to guarantee efficient operation.
6. Fire and Intruder Systems: Regular maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarms and intruder detection systems.
7. Water Hygiene: Ensuring water systems meet hygiene standards and comply with regulations.
8. Lightning Protection: Maintenance and testing of lightning protection systems to safeguard infrastructure.
9. Building Maintenance & Site Infrastructure: General maintenance of buildings and associated infrastructure, including groundskeeping tasks.
10. In addition to these duties, you will supervise contractors performing specific tasks and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. You will also interact with clients during service visits, responding to queries, reporting any defects, and providing updates on site activities.
What We're Looking For:
11. Maintenance/FM experience
12. Electrical AP experience
13. Relevant qualifications, such as an Electrical Level 3 Award, City & Guilds (C&G), and 18th Edition certification.
14. Health & Safety knowledge
15. A willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota when required.
16. A full, clean driving license is essential for this role as travel between sites is expected.
