Job overview

Development opportunity - An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Change Manager on a fixed term contract for 15 months.

An in depth knowledge of Workforce rotas and scheduling services is essential to the success of the project as is the ability to translate the benefits of team based working to our sectors alongside experience of organising and delivering complex project plans.

A key success factor will be your highly developed influencing skills.

The post holder in conjunction with the Project Manager and key stakeholders will ensure that benefits are planned and realised and staff are fully informed and on board to the benefits of the programme.

As a Business Change Manager, the post holder will be required to lead change initiatives and projects, both across directorates and with partner agencies, to deliver the changes required in all service lines and geographical areas of EEAST.

Main duties of the job

The Business Change Manager will:

* support with the development of benefits maps, profiles and review documentation and initiating regular benefits reviews post initiative closure.
* support and guide the service through transformational change, ensuring all users are adequately prepared for implementation and adoption of the changes.
* maximise the potential benefits of any system milestones to ensure that the Trust and its employees can easily use the full functionality of the systems.
* Identify opportunities for improvements, innovations, and future proofing of systems.

The responsibilities will vary according to the needs of the programme, ranging from providing expert advice on Team Based rota design matched to demand, contracted hours and Working Time Directive, Scheduling process, facilitation of internal and external stakeholders at engagement events, preparation of business cases, project initiation documents, managing the implementation of agreed changes, through to realising the benefits of changes made, post-project evaluation and sharing lessons learnt across the organisation.

Qualifications

* Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience

Knowledge & Experience

* Knowledge and previous experience of development of Workforce rotas and scheduling services
* Organising and delivering complex project plans
* Proven experience of delivering cost improvements through service redesign
* Knowledge of GDPR information governance
* Experience of project implementation including process analysis and mapping
* NHS and/or change management experience
* Proven experience of building successful partnership relationships
* Evidence of business change knowledge and experience
* Experience of training to support business change

Practical and Intellectual Skills, Personal Qualities, Abilities and Attributes

* Ability to plan and prioritise own work and that of others to meet required deadlines.
