Job Description
3. Assisting with transactional finance including both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
4. Invoice processing and monitoring of the finance inbox
5. Support the reconciliation of bank accounts.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the department.
7. Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance tasks.
8. Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team on adhoc tasks
9. Provide support during internal and external audits.
10. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
11. Respond to queries from stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
12. A background in accounting, with knowledge of key financial processes.
13. Experience in using accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
14. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
15. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
17. Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
