Security Engineer
Atrium EMEA are supporting a world-leading IT services client in their search for Security Engineers to join a major financial services programme. To be considered, you must have recent financial services experience.
These are long-term contract opportunities working within a large-scale enterprise security environment, supporting the delivery and enhancement of critical security capabilities across a complex technology estate.
Location:
Cheshire: Hybrid working with 2 days per week onsite (mandatory).
Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheshire to be considered (other sites may be available – midlands, Central London)
Contract Details:
• Daily Rate: £550 (inside)
• Inside IR35
• Initial 12-month contract
Key Requirements:
• Strong experience as a Security Engineer within large enterprise environments
• Experience working within highly regulated organisations
• Strong understanding of security engineering principles and best practices
• Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting security technologies
• Ability to work closely with architects, engineers, operations teams, and stakeholders
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
• Recent financial services experience
• Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes
• Exposure to cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of security frameworks and industry standards
