Senior Admin Officer
Location: Marlborough House
Department: Land & Regeneration Management
Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Hourly Rate: £13.91
End Date: 16/11/2026
Reason: Covering maternity leave
Main Purpose
To assist in the effective administration and delivery of Land & Regeneration Services objectives, including general administrative duties related to Development Services, Housing Analytics, Research, Strategy & Rural Development, Housing Regeneration, Sustainable Development, and Regional Place-Shaping.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support for Land & Regeneration Services.
2. Assist with applications, submissions, and preparation of statistical information and management reports.
3. Implement and review policies and procedures.
4. Prepare written reports for senior management.
5. Maintain and develop databases and IT systems using Microsoft packages.
6. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Contribute to training programmes and carry out general administrative duties.
Essential Criteria
8. Qualifications: BTEC Higher (or equivalent) + 1 year relevant experience
OR BTEC National (or equivalent) + 2 years relevant experience
OR Equivalent CPD/experiential learning + minimum 3 years relevant experience.
9. Experience: Significant experience in at least 3 of the following: Policy implementation/review Administrative support for business objectives Maintenance of complex databases using MS packages Stakeholder engagement Preparation of written reports for senior management.
10. Access NI clearance required (Basic).
