United Living Energy is a UK gas and energy engineering specialist offering design, build, and maintenance on critical national infrastructure for the UK gas asset owners.
You will be the commercial lead on projects, responsible for their commercial success while adhering to administrative procedures. You will promote a collaborative environment with clients and manage subcontract/supply chain accounts.
Contract Management Responsibilities:
* Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts.
* Manage and process payments for specialist subcontracts and key suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, rights, and obligations.
* Report monthly on project outturns, including Pain/Gain analysis (if applicable).
* Coordinate changes or amendments according to NEC 3/4 Options A & C.
* Assess the impact of changes and liability exposure.
Contract Administration:
* Monitor and track contract obligations.
* Conduct site visits to administer contracts aligned with project progress.
* Monitor and report on contract performance regarding schedule, cost, and issues.
* Oversee the closeout process, ensuring all terms are met and payments verified.
* Handle forms, reports, clearances, and resolve issues.
* Collaborate with clients and subcontractors throughout.
Budget Management:
* Evaluate the impact of budget changes with the project team.
* Report on cost variances.
* Maintain Defined Cost Records for audits.
Reporting and Documentation:
* Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation reports.
* Generate Earned Value Analysis reports.
* Review weekly cost monitors and compare forecasted vs actual costs.
* Prepare monthly valuations.
* Maintain change registers.
* Contribute to the commercial report.
Additional Information
* Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable managing large data sets.
