Up to £70,000 depending on experience, up to £5,000 relocation support, plus benefits
Here at White Cross Vets, Roundhay we’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our committed team on a permanent basis. The role involves working closely with the team on a day-to-day basis whilst providing clinical support and guidance where required. the role can vary depending on your interests however the general caseload at present is 50 % consults and 50% surgery however we’re looking forward to hearing about your interests. A full time candidate would usually work 40 hours per week, over 4 days however we’re also looking forward to hearing from those who are looking for part time or more flexible hours. There is a requirement to take part in the Saturday rota however no requirement for OOH.
At White Cross Vets we have 21 clinics, across the UK. All of our clinics have teams with different interests with team members undergoing further training by certificates or having those that have achieved certificate status. Being part of something bigger, offers a fantastic level of support on a wider group level and allows us to grow and develop a higher quality first opinion pet car, whilst providing internal career progression opportunities. Our Rounhday practice is located in a beautiful suburb in North Leeds which is home to one of the biggest parks in Europe! We’re surrounded by lovely restraunts, cafés and delis and we’re not far from both Leeds City centre and Harrogate. Within the practice, we have a laproscopic spay, a new mindray 5 ultrasound machine, Phovia, dental x-ray, amongst lots of others!
We’re a friendly team at Roundhay who love to socialise together outside of work as well as getting stuck in with our monthly wellbeing afternoons and team activities. With a range of things we get up to, such as walks, Easter egg decorating and films with popcorn! We also have the added benefit of two neighbouring White Cross Practices, Guiseley and Eccleshill and have the Central Support Team just 20 minutes down the road! We’re also lucky enough to have a lovely set of clients, a large proportion of which are insured and are part of our Complete Wellness Plan!
