About the Hotel This position is based at The Glencoe House Hotel, in Glencoe. Glencoe House, built by Lord Strathcona in 1896, sits majestically overlooking Scotland's most famous Highland landscape. The stunning property has been lovingly restored and contains two distinctive concepts, both of which offer elegant but relaxed and sumptuous suites. Key Responsibilities Serve breakfast and dinner promptly with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency. Share knowledge and passion for food and wine, including recommending pairings to enhance guest experiences. Support smooth-running service by coordinating with the kitchen and ensuring timely delivery of dishes. Maintain immaculate presentation, ensuring areas are always guest-ready. Handle guest requests and feedback with confidence and care. Uphold all health, safety, and food hygiene standards. What We're Looking For A genuine love of food, dining, and hospitality, a true restaurant enthusiast. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but not essential, we'll provide full training. An interest in wine and food pairings, with confidence in recommending specials and upselling. Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach. Attention to detail and pride in delivering memorable dining experiences.
