The post holder will work within the Trust's various wards and departments to carry out a range of duties associated with the provision of cleaning, food service, and other patient support activities.

Main duties of the job
* Perform cleaning duties within the allocated department and related areas according to the departmental cleaning schedule, National Cleaning Standards, including specialist cleaning as required by Infection Control.
* Assist with ad hoc light portering duties.
* Check equipment and display warning signs to comply with Health and Safety Regulations.
* Ensure correct waste segregation and disposal procedures in line with Trust policy.
* Regenerate and serve food, prepare beverages, and perform related duties.
* Distribute and collect linen to wards and departments, along with other laundry duties.
* Complete Trust and departmental paperwork as per standing instructions.
* Assist with health, safety, hygiene, and monitoring checks/audits.
* Observe Food Hygiene Legislation and hospital and client policies, reporting faults or operational issues to supervisors or managers.
* Engage in all relevant training programs and courses.
