JOB DESCRIPTION:
We have vacancies in our Fund Services team where you will help service our portfolio of clients. You will work as part of a team to meet client needs. Specific responsibilities include:
1. Assist with bookkeeping and reporting of funds and related structures.
2. Assist with preparing management accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS, utilizing trial balances and documentation.
3. Support the team during the annual audit process.
4. Handle fund capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and redemptions.
5. Serve as a point of contact for clients, board members, and third-party intermediaries such as banks, lawyers, accountants, and tax advisors, via in-person, written, or telephone communication.
6. Assist with the preparation and monitoring of Know Your Customer and Client Due Diligence Files.
7. Process client payments across various bank platforms.
8. Support fund-related regulatory and compliance processes.
9. Help monitor and deliver finance and compliance KPIs.
10. Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
YOUR PROFILE:
* Educated to A-Level or university degree level; degrees in finance or accounting are preferred but not mandatory.
* Studying for or willing to pursue relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA or ACA.
* At least 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
* Strong team spirit, relationship-building skills, and initiative.
* Ambitious, energetic, and committed.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills.
* High IT literacy, especially in Excel and Word.
