Key Responsibilities
Promote high standards of care and education within the nursery
Support and supervise playroom staff in their daily duties
Deploy staff to ensure standards are maintained
Oversee key person procedures and allocate children to key carers appropriately
Ensure practice meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Provide professional feedback to parents and carers
Build positive working relationships with staff and families
Promote the nursery to current and prospective families
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above
Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
Excellent communication and team management skills
Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education
