Blue Legal is partnering with a leading international law firm who are recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join their London office for one of their key industry groups. The role involves pitching, client targeting, profile raising, and events. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability and flexibility to manage a large workload.
The Responsibilities:
* Develop and customise pitch materials for national and global opportunities, including proposals, presentations, and capability statements.
* Collaborate with legal, business development and marketing teams to create and maintain standard practice materials.
* Ensure accuracy and consistency by formatting client materials, updating the deal database, CRM entries and lawyer profiles on internal/external platforms.
* Support firm branding and PR efforts, contributing to campaigns, thought leadership, social media content and marketing initiatives.
* Manage internal communications, including newsletters, business highlights, and alerts on client and matter successes.
* Assist with legal directories by helping lawyers prepare submissions and interview briefings.
* Produce client and market intelligence, financial reports, briefing notes, and research for client meetings and events.
* Organise and execute events such as webinars and seminars, and contribute to special projects while ensuring timely, high-quality output.
The Candidate:
* Preferred background in law or professional services with experience in client-facing activities and cross-functional teamwork is desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment, with exceptional organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
* Confident communicator comfortable working across geographies and levels; displays professionalism, sound judgment and team collaboration.
