The EC&I design engineer will be responsible for supporting other engineers in delivering design projects or leading small EC&I project tasks with the support of other engineers. This will include full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
Tasks could include:
* Delivering design project deliverables. Covering the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
* Producing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision.
* Responsibility for the coordination, planning and delivery of designs in accordance with the required standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project.
Requirements
* Ability to confidently liaise with external stakeholders and team members.
* Ability to independently seek out or develop own answer to challenging technical questions.
* Ability to organise own time and the time of others to ensure internal / external deadlines are achieved and Client expectations are exceeded.
* Minimum qualification for this role is an HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical or control engineering or similar engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience.
* Experienced in interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
* Previous experience in a Nuclear Site or other highly regulated site.
* AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
* AutoCad design.
* Hold a minimum of ‘SC’ UK Security Clearance, or willing to obtain.
