We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join a well-established organisation in Birmingham. This role involves ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards within the industrial and manufacturing industry. Description Conduct detailed inspections of products and components to ensure compliance with quality standards. Document and report inspection findings accurately for internal use. Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality-related issues. Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper calibration and functionality. Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during inspections. Assist with internal and external audits as required. Support the quality team in relation to the procedures for ISO 9001 and 14001 Ensure that SOP's are adhered to, deviations from process should be highlighted and if necessary, the SOP reviewed to ensure the process is correct and up to dateProfile A successful Quality Inspector should have: A strong understanding of quality control processes within the industrial and manufacturing sector. Experience with inspection tools and measuring equipment. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering or manufacturing disciplines. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Job Offer £35,000 per annum.
