Cyber Security Architect
Location – Any UK
Salary – Competitive (based on experience)
Level – Associate Manager
Security clearance – BPSS and SC required, with 5 years UK address history, British passport, no dual nationality.
Qualifications & Experience
As a Security Architect you will:
* Integrate and collaborate with technical and solutions architects to define the security architecture for high‑profile solutions within traditional and groundbreaking enterprise IT as well as custom operational technology systems.
* Work closely with Information Assurance and Pen‑Test teams to validate effectiveness of security controls or define new security solutions in an agile, innovative and team‑centric manner.
* Have strong technical experience in at least one of the following areas:
o IP networking & OT
o On‑premises architecture and Virtualisation
o Cloud platforms and Containerisation
o Databases and LLMs
o Mobile technologies & Application security
* Apply threat‑modeling techniques to identify security threats and define security requirements.
* Manage security requirements through the delivery and operational life cycle of a system.
* Provide authoritative specialist security advice in risk and threat‑based mitigation, control frameworks such as NIST, ISO, CIS, and protective monitoring, authentication and authorisation best practices.
* Develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, peers and subordinates.
* Communicate effectively verbally and in writing: explain complex technical solutions to non‑technical audiences, deliver clear written guidance, give impactful presentations.
* Apply critical thinking and problem solving within information technology.
Flexibility & Mobility
Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role as there will be requirements to spend time on‑site with our clients and partners.
Desirability
Previous employment as a Security Architect is desirable but not essential. Technical specialists with a strong lean towards security often make good security architects.
