As a Solution Architect, you’ll take the lead in designing and governing end-to-end technology solutions that underpin critical customer servicing journeys. You’ll work across complex ecosystems, balancing innovation with practicality, and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with Barclays’ strategic architecture. To be successful as a Solution Architect, you should have experience with: Excellent experience of delivering complex end-to-end solution designs as a Solution Architect. A specialist understanding of architectural principles, best practices, and modern design methods. Previous ability to simplify complex challenges, delivering clear and effective solution designs. Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include Experience designing solutions for mobile and internet-facing customer servicing platforms, ideally within Financial Services or Banking. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and guide strategic thinking through technology innovation. Expertise in complex systems integration, with sound knowledge of implementation and integration challenges and their architectural implications. You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills. This role will be located at our Knutsford office.
